Hergen Fekken took the win by just .1 of a second. He now leads Manvir Baryan by 23.8 seconds, with Leroy Gomes in 3rd at 1min 10.1. Guy Botterill leads the R2Ns by 26.3 seconds over Jono van Wyk, JJ Potgieter is 3rd at 1min 46.

SS4 Hergen Fekken continues his winning run

Stage 4 results: Hergen Fekken continues his winning run, extending his overall lead to 22.7 seconds over Manvir Baryan. Leroy Gomes is 3rd at 57.2. Guy Botterill leads the R2Ns by 34 seconds over Jono van Wyk. JJ Potgieter is 3rd in the class.

SS3 AC Potgieter retired

On Stage 3 of the #RallyOfSA Hergen Fekken took his winning streak to 3 in a row. Manvir Baryan was 2nd, 2.2 seconds back. Guy Botterill was the fastest R2N car .9 of a second faster than Jono van Wyk. AC Potgieter meanwhile retired with suspension damage in Stage 2.

We're hearing from the course on Stage 2 that Rory Eland, in his Subaru, has become the first victim of the treacherous roads of the #RallyOfSA. He and co-driver Robbie Coetzee appear to be okay after the off.

Hergen Fekken took the stage victory on the opening stage of the #RallyOfSA over Leroy Gomes (2nd) & Manvir Baryan (3rd). Guy Botterill was the fastest R2, just under 30 seconds slower than the powerful 4 wheel drive R4.
